It is a plate, both surfaces of which are bare or one side is covered with black fiberglass, vertically carry itself, used for heat, sound and fire insulation.

Application Areas

Stone wool plates are used in curtain wall systems behind the granite, marble, aluminum, glass facade and glass coating for heat, sound insulation and fire safety.

Application Principles

Stone wool plates are installed in cage systems formed by metal construction on the facade walls or by means of wall plugs. Also, in ready-made panel systems, the plates can be installed on the facades as ready-made panels at the site following pre-installation at the factory. In the curtain wall systems, since the ventilation space formed between the carrier construction and the covering material has a chimney effect, it is very important to choose A class fireproof material group as humidity barrier in terms of fire safety.

Reminders on Loading, Unloading, Transport and Storage:

It should be done in closed areas in rainy weather.
Stretch the canvas even when hey are shipped for short distances.
It should be stored in the package and the damaged package should not be used.
Packages should not be stacked on top of each other.
The products are not be stepped on or used as a step.
Before pulling with rope, hard cardboard with dimensions of 50×20 cm size should be
placed under the rope.
Storage area should be closed to prevent leakage during rain, flooding etc.
The storage floor must be flat and non-slippery.
Loading and unloading should be done with the roof crane.
Plates should be carefully transported to the application area by two persons.
